Hubs & Parking

Transport hubs and car parks are playing an-increasing importance in our towns and cities as we demand sustainable travel choices. Multi-modal hubs will enable a seamless journey from train to e-scooter, to bus, to electric car and a perhaps a place to collect shopping too.  In designing and building the hubs of today we can make allowance for the technology of tomorrow as we create a net-zero carbon world.

It’s an exciting journey and at Octavius we draw upon our impressive portfolio of railway station and multi-modal transport hubs and car parking solutions to help shape the design and delivery.

Car Parks

Good transportation links need convenient parking at the right price-point. Installing a modular deck straight onto an existing parking surface is the quickest and cheapest solution to increase capacity. The trick is to engineer the best solution in terms of entry and exit points, how long people use the spaces, traffic flow and disabled access. Alongside this are decisions on cladding, EV chargers, lifts, and PV cells.

By engaging with us early, from concept design, we can work with consultants, developers, and architects to create a cost-efficient solution. A solution which will meet the individual customer needs, integrate architects features and will ease through planning, design, installation and into operation.

Our patented system is flexible and can adapt to future needs expanding outwards and upwards, it can be a permanent solution or it can be sustainably repurposed in a new location.

Transport Hubs

With our rail and highways expertise and modular car park offering we encourage early engagement with consultants, architects, and client teams to develop integrated designs. Designs which consider the passenger and transport operators needs in both the build and over the operating life of the transport hub. We can help develop cost-efficient solutions which are fully accessible, flexible, keep everyone safe and most importantly are cleaner and greener.
